Presentation draft 1 + Feedback

On Dec 6, I performed the first draft of my presentation attached here.

Aside from the introduction, the only text shown on the slides is the data collected, as a way to give more importance to the research than to my personal voice (the narrator). I kept the latter as spoken word and I have included it in the script bellow. I had asked each participant to draw their perception of UAL and of one positive teaching moment they had described during our conversation. Only one of them ended up doing it, which I have included in the bellow presentation.

In the script bellow the narrator’s voice has a clear background,
UAL = yellow,
Interviewee 1 = green
Interviewee 2 = blue
Interviewee 3 = red
recollected conversation = pink

Feedback:

I was glad to hear the performance was understandable and engaging. However, the feedback made it clear that some elements of the conceptual underpinning were not that clear, I think that is possibly because those elements were spoken and not written on the screen. I’ll have to consider how to highlight those better. The introduction could maybe use work, and I could maybe experiment with a conclusion also (depending on timings)

Additionally, it was mentioned that the presentation could be more visual and I wonder if including some diagrams or illustrations might help to also solve the first comment. I could for example have some visuals illustrating the worlds getting built and being amplified. Not yet sure exactly how, but something to think about.
